Well, after have searched for the Pope reference photo, and drew him few time (yea, it felt kinda weird) I'm always more sure about the idea itself. I've started to experiment different poses of him, and different outfits and accessories (yea, it does sounds strange). Than,in one of the worst hangover of my life, I've thought that would be cool try to draw, instead of the pope, the most known symbol of Banksy, the rat. I drew him with a Pope outfit, and used some black artist pen, trying to achieve the "stencil" effect. It did result kinda of cool indeed. But would that be just copy his style, or it would be using it?
I also showed my old sketched to John (most probably the only person who will read this blog), who seems to like the idea, and was able to recognize the Pope kinda fast. The only thing that worried me is the fact that, if I show my sketches to him, the "surprise effect" could vanish, and delete the "instantaneous laugh" that the picture is intended for. So now there is the moral dilemma, should I or shouldn't I, show him the final product before the deadline?
